AJKHSLJHF I just hit a button and erased my whole post. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH OK FINE.
Wow, it's been a long time since I've written anything of substance! Let's see, Lego HP2 came out for the iphone, and I am loving it! Man, I miss video games so much. I want to play Okami, FFX - all the games, really. Audrey will eventually go to school, then it's MINE ALL MINE! Ahem.
I spent the past few days formatting manga for my kobo!! I'm so happy to read it on there, it's so convenient! No more being tied to the computer or lugging around 20+ volumes. The images are a little squished, but it's definitely readable! The only sad part is that Kobo doesn't like SD cards. There was a firmware update last year that seemed to break them up, and they still haven't fixed it. There is more then enough memory for me to carry around a series at a time, which is really nice. I do hope they fix it sometime soon, since it would be so awesome to have my whole manga library with me at once!
I've been sewing a lot too!
I can't wait until I'm done this quilt and I can take pretty pictures - it's by far one of my favourites. The fabric is just beautiful! I might make one in a larger size just for me, it's just so pretty! The back fabric is my favourite, it's too bad that I waited too long to get it, I can't find it any more!
This is the state of what was once my dining room table. Weep! I have made SUCH a mess on there. Let's see, there is a quilt folded up that needs to be actually quilted, some batting, a ton of folded fabric I need to put away, some packaging that needs to be thrown out, some very pretty mothers day flowers, my new iron still in the box. a lot of pieces of fabric cut out from the two bags of clothes under the table. Eeek!
This is my next HUGE project! It's actually the biggest quilt I've attempted so far! Dun dun dun! It's a quilt made from old baby clothes that I was commissioned to make for an old co-worker. I actually scanned all the clothes to make different designs! The brown fabric arrived yesterday and is just the right colour, hurray! If you want to see more designs, they are all in my flickr. I was going to make the one with all the triangles, but after I started cutting out the fabric, I realised that I don't have larger enough pieces for it. So, this one was born! I like it!
I have seen the Avengers twice and I just love it. I mean, I really really love it. I like it so much that I've been trolling the internet looking for decent fanfiction. Sheesh. I want more! I loved Black Widow and the Hulk - Joss writes such good characters. Even if the whole "mewling quim" bit was just odd. Really? You called her a crying vagina? Not really threatening? Anyways, I really hope she gets her movie. I loved her and Hawkeye together (actually, I loved her and the Hulk together, but I have to ship ALL THE PEOPLE FOREVER), so it would be nice to see her back story. Especially Budapest?
Let's see.... I had my tetanus shot the other day and my arm is still sore a week later. Such wimpy arms! Audrey had a doctor's appointment for a check up, and I happened to mention that I needed a booster shot. So... she gave it to me right there. Ouch! I also fear that my IUD has fallen out, and I know the only way to bring peace back to my mind is to go get another ultrasound, and I just don't want to. Sigh. First world problems!
I bought this quilt pattern yesterday, because I am just lusting after this!
Mmmmmmmmm..... It's so pretty! It doesn't come out until October, so I am saving like crazy so I can buy ALL OF IT. <3<3<3 It's just too pretty for words. All the colours!
To end this lovely post, I just want to while that I am hot. Hot and sticky and it's only may. Where is my rainstorm Kingston, where?!
