rambles and some fabric

It's been so hot out! :( I hate the heat. Well, the heat itself isn't too bad, but the humidity gets to me so fast! Rar WINTER!

I am trying to make myself go out for more walks - not easy in the humidity! But since I don't work as much anymore, I really feel more... fat? I suppose? So I am trying to make myself get out and walk fast for a half hour. A good sweat never did anyone any harm!

I found a new smoothie recipe!

1 c frozen raspberries
1 c milk (more if needed)
1/3 c vanilla yogurt (heaping)
a big dollop of honey

BLEND!

It's so refreshing!

I have finally finished my crafting cleanup, and I am so happy! I got rid of a lot of fabric I hated, like broadcloth and some stuff from Value Villiage. It feels good to get rid of fabric that I will never use - I get to make room for more of the good stuff!

This is the reason I wanted to redo everything - so I could actually see the fabric! Most of it was in tubs or annoying piles that I couldn't easily access. This is wonderful! Now I can feel inspired and actually make things! (Speaking of which, I have 2 more purses to make then I think I will put them on Etsy. Should I sell my awesome Harry Potter purse? I probably won't use it again... HUM. )

I noticed after I organized the piles of fabric that I am really lacking in the yellows/oranges department. So I placed a large order with Hawthorne Threads! I looked at my vacation pay and was happy to find it fairly substantial, so I spent it on a heaping pile of fabric. WOO.

Teddy is going to get me a Kobo, I believe! Hopefully the Queens store has one! If it does, he gets it on a month to month payment plan, interest free! Sweet! It should be about 13 dollars a month, which is totally doable.

Now, while I wait for my fabric (I keep telling myself that it isn't going to come today, but I just can't help but ANTICIPATE), we are going to the park before it gets too hot out.

organizing, exercise, real life, fabric is good for the soul, reading, recipe, teddy is awesome, kobo
