Why hello internets - there you are! *headdesk*
Remember when I said I had reached burnout last weekend, and then without thinking managed to end up working 6 shifts this week, and now have no time to breath, let alone feed my family and sew another Harry Potter robe? I do! Aaarrgggg..
This post will be full of random photos and rambly rambles. Just an FYI.
I gave Audrey her first haircut! It was a little bit terrifying, but she was still the whole time! I have since evened out the sides a weeeee bit. Her bangs are way too short, and I don't like them much, so next time I might try to grow them out. But they were in her eyes and bothering her, so what was I too do? Her hair is much better at the back - I evened it out so it doesn't look like a mullet. Woohoo! I've kept a couple locks of her hair, and I'm going to put them into a pretty envelope or something as a nice keepsake.
So I was freaking out about things like how to make supper and stuff for lunch with Audrey, and how to do housework since I am so behind on it all. Thankfully I didn't get too freaked out - I managed to come up with a plan! First off, that I can in fact get the housework done - mothers everywhere do it! It just takes way longer. So I stopped freaking out about that.
For suppers it's harder. I like to wait until Teddy gets home so one of us can watch the baby! Teddy makes supper most of the time, and it's really easier with two people home. But, since Teddy gets home at 415, and I have to leave at 430, that is just not enough time. I was worried about what to do! Audrey really doesn't have a lot of variety, and she is starting to eat more sweet things and processed food, and I just don't like that. I really have to make more decent food so my daughter eats right! I decided that this would be the week of the slow cooker. Anyone with awesome recipes just let me know! That way I can make the food in the morning, and just forget about it with baby magoo.
This is my perler bead creation! You all might remember when I showed you the Sailor Saturn I did ages ago - it's been sitting in a bag ever since. But canvas was on sale at Micheals, so picked one up! I painted it dark purple, then painted sparkles on top, and glued it on top. I am super super happy with the results! :D This photo makes it look way too shiny (thank you flash), but it looks so awesome. Dani - you need to do the same with your perler creation whos name I forgot! :D:D Wait wait wait I remembered! It's Knives Cho or something like that.
I went to my first funeral on Saturday. It was for Teddy's grandfather. It was nice, if that's ok to say about a funeral. I really wish I had known his grandpa years ago - all my memories are of him drinking (probably for pain relief). It was nice to hear memories of him from before he was sick.
Nicci. This is all your fault. :D You see that measuring cup on the right? That's the best I could do for a measuring system. About half a 1/4 cup is an oz, so I had to guess! LOL. But my drink was tasty and now I'm going to make it for everyone ever. And claim it as my own. MUAHAHAHAH.
I made another decision today! ANOTHER ONE. To be "debt-free" by 2012. It's "debt-free" since I will still have my credit line, but I will have paid off my credit card. I'm going to really really try. I am seriously tired of having it hanging over my head. Pray for me! I really have to stop getting things I don't need like more books, I really REALLY don't need more Starbucks, more chocolate, more fabric, nothing. I don't need anything. I just keep thinking about how good it would feel to not have that debt. So, now I'm going to make a chant in my head - Debt-free 2012. REPEAT!
Ah.. This photo. OK. So Audrey didn't want to eat her yogurt for breakfast, so I left it on the table. I forgot she can climb into the chairs now. Later on I noticed she was pretty silent, but I really really wanted her to be quiet so I pretended that the silence was good! :D When I went over to see her, this was there! OH MAN. She was so proud of herself though, what was I to do? :D
