Spring Break!!

Praise the lord it is finally here!!!! I'm so glad that it is spring break. I would have been celebrating on Friday---but I had a clinical at 7am on Saturday morning. So I couldn't celebrate until right now:) I have spent the day restocking on sleep that has been missed during the week. Especially from thurs-sat(clinical paperwork, clinicals, picking up patient's etc). I have managed about 18hrs and am feeling so refreshed. I'm soooo glad we are out for a week. That place was making me sick! Unfortunatly we are having a maternal/peds test the weds we come back so I gotta read like 5 or 6 chapters for that...and then the real big deal is the cardiovascular test we are having in med surg the week after that. IF I can get a head start on that test I think I can do well. I need to. If I can get like an 85 I will be able to sorta relax a little bit and not worry about failing so much. I also have these computer programs for med surg that I need to do, they are for the nclex review book and each section has like 200 questions. But anyway, and I have to finish up some careplans for my clinical the thursday after we get back. Clinicals are going by quick now. I finally am at Thomas and my teacher kicks some hard core ass! No more of this I'm a fucking bitch out to get ya shit, now I'm with a lady who is so nice! It really does make all the difference. But the staff at Thomas is alot more student friendly than at mimc. Anyway so I have to figure out some stuff that I am gonna do to relax. I was going to go to San Antonio but I don't think that is going to happen b/c I have yet to find a dog sitter.
Anyway this is a much needed break and hopefully I will be spending some days just enjoying life and others getting ready for the last 5 wks of the semester. I think tonight is dinner and movie night...oh yes it surely is!!!
