I've been curious since this song came out... but then again, where does Gwen Stefani get ANY of her lyrics from? From the tone of the song, all I DO know is that I don't want to be a "hollaback girl" whatever it is.
Anyway, Since I wrote last, Miss Beth and I met (and again tonight). I went on a motorcycle ride with Steve to nowhere in particular (although I think we went into Berks county at some point). I learned the "motorcyclist's wave" and the fun of smacking helmets;) Afterward, we ended up at Ryan and Kristi's house where Steve took my place as the cool person to play with to Justin and Ciera (despite hitting Ciera in the head with a whiffle ball). After working HR the next day, I went over to the Zaniases' where I tried to get back at Steve for the night before by making Tigg like me more than him. Didn't work. We don't need to mention the last day of work last week because my boss gave me two minutes notice that I was going to sit in Tracer training that day. ZZZZZ. ;)
This past weekend, more bridal shower planning. Here is my heart-felt plea: If you get an invitation to any type of party, PLEASE R.S.V.P., it's the only kind thing to do. Helps planning go a whole lot smoother. We tried to go strawberry picking Sunday, but every place was picked out or you could only buy in their store. Thwarted! Lexi called from Michigan since she was in a city and had reception, so I got to talk to her for a bit. Yay!
Monday was a little... blah... at work. A bunch of different things, but I was more than ready for the day to end. Getting my diploma in the mail (it's official!) was exciting thought. "Mommy and Me" Bible study also helped, and so did watching mindless entertainment in the form of "The Gremlins". WEIRD movie. (Good pick Steve;) Gizmo's cute, but all the rest...) It was pretty comical actually. And I got a backrub and talk to help my mind decompress. :D And today at work, I felt productive because it was an HR day.
I'm not impatient yet, but I'm... looking forward to hearing about grad school. Contrary to popular belief, I DON'T want to work at CAI the rest of my life:P I'm trying to wait patiently about a lot of "future-related" things. (Do I sound repetitive in all these entries? But it's true.)
p.s. My shoulders are still sore.
