Cheese nibs
I walked the long way to Silver Platters tonight to pick up The Hot Toddies album, and stopped by Met-Market where I made the most fantastic discovery. The cheese nibs basket. This the basket where they put all the cheese ends. Pieces that would normally be too small to sell get wrapped up and sold for a dollar or two. This is perfect for two reason. 1) I get to try the uber-expensive cheese (+$40/lb) for a couple dollars, and 2) each one is the perfect size for a single person. Normally I'd be sharing with the girlfriend, but she's off having fun in London, eating delicious British cheese at the source.
