I'M HOME! .. yay
you have no idea how much i did NOT want to leave this camp. it was so worth going and well.. let me just tell you about it!
Schedule: for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
8:00 Breakfeast (optional - but i went every day)
9:00 Philosophy (not too hott - italians were in they're english program)
10:00 American Political Traditions (my favorite classes - italians had this class with us)
11:00 Scripture Reading
11:30 Mass (on Tuesdays and Thursdays)
12:00 Lunch
1:00 Apologetics (I didn't like this class either - itlaians back in their other class)
2:00 Study Hall (used it to TRY to finish all the homework we had - it was a lot!)
3:00 - 5:00 Sports/Lake (italian men played with thier shirts off... not ganna lie, they have 6 packs)
5:30 Dinner
7:00 Literary Traditions
8:00 Rosary (every night - got to be a good habit)
8:30 -9:00 Essay/Speech editing
10:30 Lock down
11:30 Lights out
and somewhere in there we have to fit our homework and a little bit of social time! But trust me! we got a lot in on the social time!
Wednesday, July 27th: We went to boston and walked the freedom trail. Starting at the State house, and walking all the way around town to Fanuiel Hall and then to the USS Constitution... It may have been a long trip, but it was definately one worth taking!
Saturday, July 30th: We hiked Monadnock... it was good! i had a little more trouble than usually, but we all made it up! It was definately a trip worth taking. Pete and James were awesome about it too!
Saturday night: We had to entertain the Faculty, So we dressed Alberto and Dani up in Girl's clothes.. it was all my idea (no lie!).. it was definately worth it.. I'm still getting pictures of that one.. (i left my camera for that one!) but everyone had their digitals on them so i can jsut get them emailed to me soon!
Wednesday, August 3rd: We went to the beach and Dani, Alberto, and Alex (the three italian boys) and Lianna, Jess, and I hung out the whole time.. it was nice being evenly paired off.. everyone always had someone to talk to.. (even when the boys went off italian)
Friday, August 6th: our last night! ... it was bad.. no one wanted to leave .. cerfew was extended till two o'clock in the AM and then there was no lights out time... We didn't go to bed till 330ish (got up at 7:30 that next morning!) Plus we had our speaches that day!
We left this saturday and i didn't wanna go... We left behind what we called our Italian Stallions...
I'm not going to lie - they were worth going for.. though that was only part of it.. Plus the whole time.. Alex and I just sang "Accidentally in Love" ALL THE TIME.. that became our song, and what's now our Summer Programs song.. lol .. Alex and Dani are about the two coolest people ever... (Alberto's up there somewhere too, i think... lol, naw, he's cool too)
me being the inept being I am.. i can't figure out how to get pictures on here! .. it sucks!!!! i'm not going to lie...
