I could have bet my life that men like that just did not exist anymore.
I thought that the era when guys opened car doors, pulled out chairs, held doors open and respectfully addressed women was as contemporary as bell bottoms and polyester flowered shirts. That a gentleman was harder to find than Osama and that an honest and genuine man might as well be considered a miracle.
Well....I was proven very wrong.
I must admit...it makes me feel just that much more special to be treated like I figured I deserved all this time.
It pays to look for it in an older man. He's an "old school" kinda guy.
Mistakes made are lessons learned right? Well I'm attempting. Let's see how the cookie crumbles ::cross fingers::

To Sonia: we must DEFINITELY do that again. He put his turning signal on-awww! Bleu cheese and celery sticks! Wine?!-AGAIN!? =o) 143!
To R.C.: I'm sorry if I hurt you. I know you're not accustomed to being rejected or turned down but it would have never worked out. We're too different...we want completely different things and your persistence was only making things worse, cutting off all contact seemed like the only solution to preventing further altercations. I apologize for any bruised egos or misunderstandings. Good luck with your future endeavors.
