(no subject)
The advance party arrived a coupld of days ago. With them was my admin replacement... he seems like a good guy and he told me that he just recently became the admin guy, which means that he'll be having some problems while he's over here but nothing too bad. I've already passed everything on to him and we're just waiting for everyone else to get here.
A lot of rumors have been going around as to when we're leaving and it seems that no one has it right yet so as of right now I have no idea when I'll be back in the states. I know it'll be soon but I don't know what our window is yet. Hopefully the main body will come in tonight (according to rumors again) and tomorrow I'll be able to hand over my logs/records job. After that I'm done, I won't be working and I'll pretty much spend all my time reading magazines.. haha, so that'll be fun. I feel bad for these two guys I work with though because they are working their asses off. Because we have new guys, our higher ups want an inventory of everything in the shop. There's a lot of shit in our shop and to have to inventory everything is a herculean task. Not to mention that they've had inventories already done for everything but the higher ups still want them to do it again to make sure it's done right. Petty bullshit. Thank god we'll be out of here soon.
So there are a couple of parties lined up when I get back in NYC and I can't wait for those, they should be fun. I'll be spending some time with the fam, then partying with James and them, and then I think we're all gonna go down to the city and barhop for a while before going clubbin. It all sounds like a good idea.
I miss my family very much. My mom's recovering from surgery very well and she's going back to work today.
I'm also looking forward to seeing eddie again. That boy's all kinds of crazy. He's down at New River and my cousin's a Lejeune so I'll be able to see them both when I get back. I'm not too sure what's been going on with Rza but I'd like to see him again.
