this past week (very boring post)
things that happened this past week:
1. I saw a SmartCar on the highway.
2. I went to the library for their fast internet to watch an old TAI interview, and I started it and didn't realize for about 15 seconds that I had turned the volume on the computer on, but the headphones weren't plugged in. So it was just playing for everyone in the library. I plugged the headphones in right quick, of course. I was mortified. But what made it worse was that, while the first bit was playing out loud, nobody said anything to me, like "hey, plug in the headphones" or "what is that?". I'm avoiding the library.
3. I saw all of Zach's movie, "Prognosis Awesome". And it was all the campy actiony goodness I had hoped for. And some good capoeira moves. And he finally got the barrel roll. He used to not be able to do that. So I am psyched.
4. I saw "The Bird People in China", which was a really, really good movie, by not-my-favorite director.
5. I got a Smiths cd, and now I feel like I get some references that TAI and FOB and all them make.
6. TAI fans on the ol' lj are being positive again.
7. I had too much time alone with the Almost Here thank-yous and Google, and now, while I found out some interesting things, I feel maybe a little creepy. More on that later.
8. I forced 40 people to listen to The Phrase That Pays. Mwa ha ha.
9. I got sick. But went to work anyway (that's when I had free time with google - I had a fever, that's my excuse).
10. Yesterday, when we were supposed to be in the middle of "an assload of winter until we die," it was 70 degrees and sunny, and it made my cold go mostly away. Yippee!
