forget about what i said about being a psychiatrist. any occupation with the prefix 'psycho' is an insane nut job. today i read my patient chart that amber wrote. they overanalyze every tiny bullshit... it was fun to read but also quite disturbing. i dont know whether i shoudl call it the 'trained insight' or just plain 'overreading,' but there was an interesting point amber made in the chart that i wasnt aware of.
she connected my dying of freud story with the termination of therapy. i said first of all it's a she fish, so it's either the daughter freud or the mom freud. she put down "Anna Freud" (just like this) in the chart. then she mentioned how i said i dont want to replace the fish right away and even if i do in the future i dont think i want to put in the same kind simply because it's not the same. she interpreted it as i was 'unconsciously' talking about the termination of our relationship and transition between old and new therapies. interesting. psycho people read tooo deep into things.. interesting...
she of course had to put down my little word play 'therapist=the rapist.' my friend was right: "dont tell too much to your therapist."
