Back to work
*Sigh* After being off a whole week it certainly is hard to get back into the swing of things at work....especially when your 1st appointment is a 2 hour intake.
My alarm went off at 3am & at 3:15 ,with ad in my jacket pocket, I bundled up & made my way to Circuit City. The line was already halfway along the side of the building when I arrived at 3:25am. Yes it was rather chilly, but it helped to have 2 tall men in front of me blocking the wind! 5am the doors finally open; for a minute I thought a fight was going to break out b/c people arriving at 5 were trying to walk right in (basically cut in line)but I sucessfully dodged the drama & walked into the madhouse. 1st stop: 2 Disc DVD 300 for $9; 2nd stop: Secret Xmas gift for some1 special at an unbelievable price; 3rd: 4GB SD memory card for $28 and finally at checkout: AAA & AA Duracell batteries for $.99- I almost bought a GPS for myself but I held off for now. I was out the door at 5:24am, made it to my place at 5:38 & was back in my warm bed by 5:48am....three minutes later than last year's early bird shopping. Not bad eh :-P
