They took the resperators off her finally and was to breath on her own, thought with some slight gasping.
We had the family meeting this morning with the doctor. We are going to keep her comfortable . . . whatever that means. The only thing that was ever made clear, was that she does not want the heart valve replacement period. She feels should would not survive the operation and the surgerons agree. And even if successful, months of physical therapy alone in some facily raises the quaility of life down a bit with still additional risk that she would need to hurdle. Thre reward after all that sufferging? And eve after off of that suffering, . . . . she can still go.
