Honeymoon & Forest

Tut, what a wonderful grounds you have, Albus! It's wild terrain and untouched habitat is an excellent place in which to start our new life together - I'm afraid I must thank you once more for such a gift you've given to us.

Darling, I was almost eaten! A sneaky creature came up in front of me unexpectedly - we should discover what it is! Facinating, facinating...

I dislike undercover work very much. I doubt I would have been able to garner this assignment if it weren't because of the sudden firing of several personelle in the department. From what I hear, it's been occuring across the law enforcement side, which is completely absurd and unwarranted. With times as they are? Rubbish. We should be hiring more help, or setting more ears to the ground, not spreading our forces even thinner than they are.

I adore children. I adore my nephews and I adored the Ministry children's program, before it was shut down, and now that I'm back at Hogwarts for a spell, I'm forced to remember that I dislike teenagers in packs. Those boys we found on the road when we arrived are a suspicious bunch. Not that my coverstory is completely foolproof, but it is a bit out of the ordinary... I wonder if playing up the odd sort of character is helping or hindering.

Merlin, honeymooners. It's a little embarassing, since I Dorcas hasn't been around for long, and this is the first big assignment she's been on... I didn't tell Caradoc the particulars, though, so it's not so horrifying? ..oh, but the Aurors know, so Gid will probably mention it to him. Ack. However, I wonder... She's been so eager to do something against Voldemort, and the Ministry hasn't oblidged quite as much as she would like. I'll talk to Dumbledore tomorrow, suggest her for recruitment, and then proceed as appropriate.

...A large black dog approached me while I walked the grounds. I don't want to be supersticious, but... I don't know. Perhaps I've spent too much time listening to Arthur's brother. People don't just die from seeing a grim.
