ONE LOVE
Chillin on the porch, with summer lingering through the neighborhood. I saw an old school Cadi. with a mural on the hood. I took a look inside and saw a vato with a style like mine. He stopped the car and went outside. Calling me over with not a stutter or twitch in his eye, and ever since we've stayed by each others side.
One night when all the stars were in sight. He came to my house and picked me up so we'ld be together for the rest of the night. He gave me a rose and took me by the hand. Later that night he told me he had me a surprise. So he showed me his tatted up side. It said my name and he said for life. We kissed for the rest of the night. Laying next to each other and watched the sun rise. He whispered in my ear ''Butterfly of mine don't fly away from my side because your the one I strive for in life.''
Then one night when the clouds ruled the sky. He stopped by. I was walking toward his ride but stopped half way because I saw sorrow in his eyes. With not even a good bye he drove away and took fear for a ride.
I cried for nights. Praying to God and asking him to send my baby back home and away from the enemies side. So then i decided to do something that my mom would never abide with because it would be ther for life.
With all hope almost gone. I felt the warmth of someones touch on my arm. I turned around and saw a vibrant red rose along with an upside down frown. He carried me inside. Then I showed him my tatted up side. His presence and mine was all we needed for the rest of the night.
It was midnight and we were saying good bye. Something wasn't quite right. A car slowly crept by. Click Click Bang! My baby died in my arms that night.
