Re: non-feminists: *laughst at "bitch-dykes" and feels guilty" What I meant was: yeah, the 'unshaved manhater' stereotypes will probably turn up when non-feminists think of feminism, but with a little luck there'll also be some ideas about not keeping women confined to the domestic sphere. That's actually pretty accepted even among people who don't self-define as feminists; so it should be possible to get that idea from the fic. And really, I wouldn't want to call that reviewer dumb; judging from their writing style, they seem like an ESLer, or maybe they had a particularly bad day. And at least they seemed to like the fic, so all's well, except that I'm a little annoyed.
