(no subject)
Someone's got to know the answer to this. My new and unused stainless steel pot has rust* on the bottom (Don't ask me. I washed it when I got it and dried it and put it in the cupboard and left it there, which I think is reasonable enough). I went to make lentil soup and - rust! On the bottom! I went all what-about-the-ceramic-stovetop-panicky and used another pot.
So. Yes, I am obviously scrubbing it (the wonders of multitasking). Is the damn pot salvageable? It's my only not!tiny pot. And it's a new one, so that would be a pity.
* Now that I think about it, I hope it's rust.
