Valentine's Day festivities
Well... who drank entirely too much last night?? Me, myself, and Ashley!! LOL!!
But earlier in the day, I got to have lunch with my friends, the most extraordinary people I know, unfortunately some where missing. That started my day with a smile. I also found out I'm getting a bonus check at the end of this week for having won the "Top Gun" award at work, for the most sales for our March book, did I mention this is only month 2 here? =) Once I got home Danny surprised me with balloons and a rose... gotta love the roomie. When I went over to Ashley's to finish working on my Cuban Cupid project, which is still incomplete, Ashley surprised me with a frame she painted for me and another rose... and the sweetest card I think I've ever gotten. I got back home to change and then was off to Tatame with Ashley, Danny, and Malena... and Brennan met up with us there, and paid for our drinks... SO SWEET BRENNAN!! Then Danny, Ashley and I headed to Pulse, bringing balloons and goodies to Bobby and Heather, you should have seen their faces, they were priceless. Do people forget their bartenders/friends on Valentine's Day? It seemed to me, the very small things we brought them, completely made their night. Lots of FREE Champagne for Ashley, Danny, and I followed. We drank and drank and drank, and then drank some more. Let's put it this way, it's almost 2 in the afternoon, and I'm still queasy. But until I got sick, I think it was the best Valentine's Day I've had in a while. I got to spend time with the people I adore yesterday, if only for an hour, or the entire day... I missed seeing Michael Brooks though... I'm sure we'll make up for it tonight at Cuban Cupid...
