Point me to 95

Nothing makes me happier then the times I remember those moments from my youth. Growing up unconventionally, photos with my first cat, a gigantic bag of weed in the background. Never being allowed to play with guns, be it duck hunt or super soakers, we’d sneak over to friends houses like we were getting high behind our parents house. There is ( Read more... )

Thank you!
I just re-read it, it's been years since I wrote this and it also pre-dates my dads struggles last year with cancer. He's fine, he just doesn't have a bladder anymore, so he's even cooler than before because he pees into a bag. When I'm drinking I wish I had that. It would save me so much time when I'm wasted.
But yea, it made me cry reading it again. So thanks for pointing it out.

that's a coincidence because my step dad has crohn's and will probably have to get a poop bag lol. He has tried to put it off by diet and changing his life style and medications and his doctors said for awhile it might work, but now it's looking like he will still have to get the surgery.

I don't know if it's too late, but something that helped my dad when he had cancer was the raw food diet and making shakes out of super foods like goji goji berries, spirulena, chlorella, god I know I'm not spelling those correctly. Anyway, when he went through 16 rounds of chemo, he didn't lose his hair and was almost in better health than before he had cancer, even with all that chemo shit swirling around in his veins.
Just a thought, raw food is the way to go.

yeah dude I'm all about natural healing and trying health before meds. My step dad did change his diet a lot and is mainly eating chicken, fish, rice, veggies and fruits now and plenty of water. He was in the army so I have no idea what kind of shit they stuck in him or if any of it had a negative effect that they didn't know about until too late. But he has good weeks and bad weeks. It just sucks because he has really changed a lot and he deserves to be healthy when he is putting so much effort into helping his body heal, but it just isn't working like that.

That's great that your dad got through that! My boyfriend had a coworker and his wife had cancer, and got rid of it by just going raw and juicing and stuff, no chemo or anything. Pretty amazing how doing something so simple can cure things more than science ever will. At least for some people!
