Buffy couldn’t ever tell him. There was absolutely no way she would ever tell Spike what had happened.
Everyone else she could tell. She wouldn’t, but she could.
Buffy could tell them because they wouldn’t really understand what it meant.
But Spike…
He always understood.
There was no way that Buffy could ever tell Spike that in her dreams he had been there; that he had comforted her. In her bed.
When she had been scared and confused, it’d been him that her subconscious had conjured.
He brought her peace.
And she could never tell him.
Because he would understand.
