Rain seems to confuse people here.
Something amazing happened yesterday. It rained. Real rain. Actual drops that could be deflected by an umbrella. I think the last time I saw actual rain was in Ohio. There was even one clap of thunder. It didn't last very long, and after it was over the weather got really hot and humid. But it was great while it lasted.
I've been feeling kind of sick this week. I'm not sure if it's something I caught from the kids at school (now that they're back in regular school diseases seem to already be spreading among them - I really aught to invest in some hand sanitizer), something I caught from John that he got from other people at work, or just stress. It's not like a cold, mostly just a lot of queasiness and malaise. John's been feeling ill too, so either we're both very stressed out, or it's something germ related.
