The year's almost over now, and I'll probably be without internet access for a few days after we fully move out of the guest house. Before I leave the internets for a bit,
I've ganked an end-of-the-year meme from
confusednazgul:
1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Drove across the country in a moving truck. :)
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't actually remember what my resolutions last year were. I probably didn't make any and probably won't make any this year either.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I believe this was the first totally death-in-the-family free year in four years! It was nice.

My own?
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A full time job in my chosen field would be nice.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
It must have been a fairly uneventful year, 'cause I can't think of one.

Moving across the country.

I failed to finish even one scene in my old student film.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not yet, but there is still one day for something to happen...
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Wii! It was probably not a real responsible purchase, but I still don't regret it. :)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
John, who did a lot to help me move and to keep me from getting discouraged.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Eh, I'd rather not say in a public post.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Moving expenses

The new Dr. Who, and Avatar: the last air bender
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Hate might be a bit strong, but Ron Paul. I didn't even know who he was this time last year. I certainly hated his response to
this question.
25. What was the best book you read?
It's a toss up between
Inglorious and
The Secret Life of Houdini 26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I'm not sure what exactly the question is asking, so I'm just going to link to
Still Alive again 'cause I love that song.

I got to leave Ohio.
28. What did you want and not get?
The start of my career.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?

Right now I miss everyone back in Ohio and my Ohio friends who no-longer live in Ohio.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
You know, I don't think I really met anyone new. I need to get out of the house more. ^_^;; I'm not sure if it counts, by I did gain
margyydoodle as an LJ friend.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
That my family really is there for me when I need them.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"there's no sense crying over every mistake/ you just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake"
Have I mentioned how much I like Portal? and especially the
ending song?
40. What will you be doing to ring in 2008?
We got a can of Sauerkraut that we'll eat on new year's day. It's tradition in John's family to eat Sauerkraut and Pork on new year's day, so we're doing half the tradition. ^_^ We're going to get some champaign and try to stay up on New Year's Eve. We're not completely adjusted to the new time zone, so we've been zonking out around 10 or 11.
Happy New Year everyone! :)
