John picked up
Assassin's Creed the other day. It's not helping our packing efforts. :-P I seriously haven't enjoyed a game this much since Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. So if you liked PoP:SoT, you should check out AC. If you didn't like PoP:SoT, then you probably shouldn't take game recommendations from me, since obviously we have different tastes in games. I love that the townspeople react to the strange things you do in the game. Like, when climbing a building in Damascus a woman remarked "Someone should stop him before he hurts himself". They also get indignant when you run into them or almost run them over with a horse.
It bothers me a bit that Altair doesn't have an accent like the rest of the crusade-era people. It would make sense if he sounded more like another character in modern-day-era, but I think they sound too different. Sorry, that probably doesn't make any sense to all of you who haven't played it. I don't want to explain the story too much, even though I'm not really far enough in to have any real spoilers (I haven't even assassinated my first target yet!).
We should probably just pack up the xbox and wii. The PS2 and GameCube have both been packed, but we've been reluctant with the other two. Neither of us wants to eliminate the temptation to spend a few hours gaming. XD
We leave in less then a week. o.o
