This icon was made by the talented baenigma and features Usagi from the live action version of Sailor Moon. I'm not sure what scene the still if from exactly, but presumable she is baking something.
This one is from Metroid Fushion, which is the first Metroid game I've played and liked (this first I've played was Metroid Prime. I haven't played any of the early Metroids). I think the icon would work better if it were an animated loop, but I only have the one still. All three figures are Samus, she just running so fast she shows up three times on the one frame. I'm currently stuck in the game. My hands cramp up whenever I'm fighting the current boss, and then Samus dies.
This one is Hanazawa Rui from Hana Yori Dango, the Japanese soap opera I'm obsessed with. Rui always has that book with him, but he never seems to actually be reading it, which is probably why he was still hadn't finished it three years later when the story concluded.

As in the computers, not the fruit. I like the fruit well enough, but I'm not a huge fan of it. Like most fruits, I like it best as a juice. The computers, however, are best whole.
mossflower
Mossflower was a book I read over 14 times as a child (there was a time I read it yearly -- the way some people read the bible.). Actually, my username comes from the prequel, Martin the Warrior. Last time I was at a book store, I noted that the series is still going strong (I think Brian Jacques is up to book 14 now...) but I kind of lost interest in it a while ago. Nevertheless, Mossflower and the other books in the series that I read as a child will always have a special place in my heart, and my head.
van-sama
Van-sama is a character in Escaflowne (an anime). He's the king of Fanel, a kindom which was destroyed. He is one of several animated characters I had a crush on in high school. Some people might think it's silly to have a crush on animated characters, but really it was about as likely that I could have hooked up with an animated character as it was that I could have hooked up with Brad Pitt, the Prince of England, or whoever else teen aged girls are supposed to lust after.
