Voting
So yeah, that thing where I was going to start going to bed at a decent hour? That's not happening...
So far I'm happy with how the election stuffs turning out. The smoking "ban" isn't passing (it would really replace the existing ban with a less strict ban, allowing smoking in bowling alleys and some restaurants/bars). I realize it probably sucks to be a smoker here because of the existing ban, but I'm having a hard time sympathizing. Even slight amounts of smoke give me headache, and it's just nice not to have to worry about being seated near the smoking section of restaurants. It's not like I had a choice about my body's tolerance. Whereas smoking peoples did make a choice to start smoking.
Voting was rather simple. I like the electronic machines, although the paper trail thing would be really annoying to count by hand if it came down to that.
