Well, I've noticed I have neglected LJ for over a year...fallen into that succubus known as Facebook. I doubt anyone will read this, but it is atleast for my own enjoyment.
Been very busy with going to VIU and living in Nanaimo for 4 days and back to living in Royston for the rest. School's been pretty cool though - I love the campus. Only thing I don't like about the campus though, is that its on a huge hill.... fun for walking back to my car! Met some cool people as well! And ofcourse, some not so cool people.
Looking back, I have had quite a year....started to wear makeup, bought and wore a dress, started a new school, sort of moved, had an insane ball year (played in 3 leagues), had to deal with some people, had some great times with friends, got drunk with Finnish girls, and had two people in a row use me and my niceness and whatever else. Speaking of which, I should stop falling for boys. Yes, boys. I'm tired of falling for someone who just leads you on for their needs only, totally not regarding any of yours. Boys who are immature, selfish, and lacking common sense, courtesy and respect. What pisses me off, is that THEY think whatever they have done is fine and think they did nothing wrong. But ofcourse, that's where the growing up comes into play I suppose. Still frustrating though. Everyone says the same things to me: Oh you are so nice, funny and pretty and any guy would be lucky to have you. I'm not saying that to sound like I'm full of myself, it frustrates me more than anything. Everyone always talks about nice guys finishing last...but what about the nice girls? I bet the couple of guys I'm referring to, if reading this, are thinking that what they did is justified and I'm just being dramatic. If they are thinking that, then it just further proves my point.
Enough about that depressing stuff, minus all that stuff, I've had a great 2008. I grew up alot - physically and mentally. Oh, and had a great New Years with Kim, Jeff and Brian! Always fun to be classy, take pictures and have a blast. Hmm what else, been trying to get tickets for a couple events, and Christian and I were thinking of saving up money to go to a hockey game. This past year realized how much I really love my true friends. Met some great new people as well, like Dayna (who I rarely get to see now). There is this guy Graeme, who was in my Pop Culture class at VIU, and he's quite the nerd; I love it. He reminds me of Brian May, and has that intelligent humor. Anyway, I gotta go fetch my car...thanks to some fire trucks. I should write in this more...
Cheers.
