WTF is wrong with the working people today? I am so fed up with the inexcusable accounts of human error when processing extremely important matters.
1) My health insurance changed companies-through fault of my former employer. They have me falsely listed for dental and vision (I don't even have glasses), as they have for the past two months. I call today and the woman has no idea why I'm listed for vision in lieu of MEDICAL, which I was previously signed up for. I've been going without proper medical insurance for two months now, and she's not sure if she can get it straightened out in the next few weeks. I have been paying them, where is that good money going? And what on earth would happen if an emergency happened and I went to the hospital? WHAT THE HELL!
2) My unemployment ran out. No, I haven't received three checks that were supposed to be send in January. Still. FIled two claims regarding this, and still nothing. Today I'm told that there was a mistake on the computer in that 1) the EDD incorrectly had me in the category of people that was allowed only 3 months of benefits (while I should be getting at least 6, possibly 12) and that my benefits were $290 less than they should have been!!! Why? Human error. Furthermore, I keep calling to straighten this out, while the man I visited in person insists that the mistakes are in fact present and that I "may have to talk to 10 people before someone knows what they are doing and fixes it." What the hell is this?? They were sending me $62 a week for unemployment when I should have been getting $350 because I deserve/earned it. They lost three checks. I AM SO FUCKING BROKE and all the can tell me is it's human error and I have to bank on someone's competence to have it adjusted to what it should be, after calling another 10 times?
3) I got a parking ticket though I was parked at a failed meter. Mind you, it failed after I put money in. Mind you, it's $50. I try contesting it and one of the numbers doesn't work and the other does not have the right automated options and has no operator. Thanks for the lose-lose situation, Hollywood assholes.

And meanwhile, I can't find a job. My health and my finances are severely fucked because people can't do their jobs effectively and no one can own up to it and fix the problem! I have been on the phone all day, with nothing but a runaround and ignorant people who don't know where to direct me. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE WORKING WORLD!
