flying out
I'm sitting in the temporary airport in my hometown. There's chicken wire on the walls--that's because we're in the old fre station hangar. Lol
The tiny plane that will take me to Houston has just arrived. When it touched down, I heard "Plane's on the ground. Plane's on the ground." Sure is. I can see it and the people getting off of it from where I'm sitting. Lol
The ride to Houston shouldn't take more than 30 mins--we'll be lucky to get something to drink during the flight. Lol
There's no music or movies on board this plane either. Heck, they make you wait outside in the heat to get your bags. Lol
My parents told me that the parish is going to rebuild the damaged airport--it will have only been 2 years since hurricane rita came through. Lol
The new airport will be two stories, so you don't have to walk up the stairs to get into the little planes. Lol
