random and rather pointless...
not that many ppl on my flist will care (or even understand what i'm talking about) but i felt like saying something... so here goes: "something" :P j/k
talked to Nae earlier and she told me that one of her hamsters (whose name i'm not going to attempt to spell) killed the other hamster, Spade. Spade was the older hamster's offspring. needless to say, Nae was not happy about this. more mad at the mean, black, mother hamster for killing another one of her children than she was upset, but she was mad enough that she wanted to get rid of the mean one... which is now the only one she has left. she asked me if i wanted her and i said "no more animals." i have 4 ferrets and 4 hamsters of my own (and they all live in my bedroom with me, so i have no more room). so she said she's "letting her go" outside (which is where the cats live). i doubt the mean old hamster will last long outside with or without cats. i'm actually kinda glad she got rid of her. she always killed her prettiest babies... that, and now Nae doesn't have to worry about taking care of hamsters at the new house or sneezing a million and one times every time she changes the cage.
on another random pet note: those of you who added me to your flist recently (mostly the HPfic fans/writers/limerick queens) might find this a bit interesting for its fandom refrence.
the other day i had all four of my ferrets in the dig box (a plastic storage bin with many holes in the lid that's nearly half filled with toys and ground corn cob for the animals to play around in). i went downstairs for a bit and when i came back up my youngest ferret, Nymphadora Tonks (who obviously is called by her surname only) had apparently squezzed her pudgy little gut through one of the bigger holes in the box. when i came into the room she was just sitting by the door staring up at me with this look like "i've been bad and we both know it, but i'm so cute that you're gonna pick me up and love me anyway!" ........and, of course, i did. cuz she's adorable and i love her lots! i love all my ferrets! even if Ty's a royal pain in the ass sometimes...
