Just a Regular Update
Ok so it’s time I updated this thing again. Hmmm where to start where to start.
Ok so how about with the biggest disappointment. U2 tickets…. We missed out. Bri tried to get them but *shrug* guess that’s the way the cookie the crumbles… at least I’ll save $150. Michelle (my hairdresser) got hers from Rebel Sport… I never knew the sold tickets for events other than the local sporting. Might have to check it out next time.
Ok lets see what else has happened. Oh the work Christmas party was on Saturday. Was just held at the Pine and Bamboo Chinese restaurant in Holland Park. The food was great, was so full by the end. The other table though had some big kiwi’s at it and as soon as the food went down on the table it was gone… lol poor Rich and a few others were still hungry at the end of the night. I wasn’t drinking as usual but the boys managed to drink the place out of Carlton Cold Mid Strength and got through most of the Harn Premium. We stayed there till about 12am and then finally decided we’d better let the owner lock up and leave. The funniest thing was that when a cab pulled up the guys spent so long fartassing around that the cabbie got the shits and took off leaving them all there. I think they eventually got a cab but we’d already left leaving them there… got home at about 1ish I think so it wasn’t a bad night.
Spent most of Sunday by the pool. Korrin came over for some card action for a while but it was pretty much just a lazy Sunday. I even managed to get a lil sunburnt… lol go me. It’s Bri’s birthday today but we had a small doing, just food and cake, yesterday because we’re going to see harry potter in gold class tonight and we wont really be home. Ahhh I love gold class… I’d love it even more if the food was cheaper. Anyway for some reason I was so bloated that I hardly had any bad food and decided to skip out on the cake and ice cream… I think there’s still some left over so I guess I’ll have some when I get home.
Went to go watch Platform Six play their last originals gig before they go to London for a while on Thursday night. They’re having a name change to Ellison… god knows why. Their new songs sounded good live but the new album kind of blows man. It’s pretty wussy even by their standards… don’t know what they were thinking. I don’t think it’s going to grow on me either. But I recommend avoiding the Elephant and Wheelbarrow from Monday - Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday it’s a great place to go, get drunk and listen to good old pub music, dance and shit but the rest of the week.. they let anyone in and that includes old old guess in stubbies and bad shirts with the green Coles bags who just stair at you waiting for you to say something so they can have a chat with you and feel young again. The trick is… just look at them with a disgusted look on your face and stay silent. They eventually go away but still… it’s kind of creepy.
The draw for the World Cup was announced on Saturday and here’s Australia’s Draw and match times. All times here are when they will played in Australian time.

Got my second Echo on Wednesday and then I see the specialist next Friday. Hopefully he’ll tell me that there’s been some improvement and I can start to be more active.
