stuff i remembered today after vodka
Oscar night. movies should be written for the screen. i'm tired of books that are made into movies and in turn i grow weary of movies that are adopted from books. Lets leave the books as they are. I know people don't go to the library anymore but that is their choice and they will become stupid as a result. and then i guess they'll vote for bush and we'll be righteusly fucked. so maybe we should turn classic literature into sensational hollywood filth so that we can have idiots vote for the democrat ticket in 2004.
i take kung fu. this week a fellow fu-body got promoted and he said to me, "I feel all tingle-y inside". Quite right. Is that what it's really about? The truly special things in life are explained by physical sensations? Sex, qui, mind expanding drugs, born againism (I want to circle you to signify a trend), wrestling, backrubs, and taking a nice long crap. Please contribute to the list if you can think of any.
...So is that it? Is that what really matters? No. There's also emotional stimulation brought through: family, friends,
lovers, born againism (If only html could cirlce you to signify a trend), professors, authors, art, and enemies. The two virtues of life: physical and emotional sensation. Providing for satisfaction in life and motivation to keep living.
I would have to say this has been the most inspiring oscar night of them all.
