(no subject)
I'm back from my road trip. I'm glad to be back, but I could have easily stayed in New Orleans and made house there for the summer. I wasnt expecting to like the south so much, but I was catching myself looking at too many "for rent" signs. The porch culture. the air you can feel in your lungs. the bending trees over the roads. lush greens. colorful houses. real soul.
Also B continues to impress me, she really is the change we want to see the the world. I think the best quality you can have is backing your shit up with action- and she has it. She is down there to be a public defense lawyer- how fucking cool is that?! I am so thankful i know her. <3
It's actually kinda COLD in boston... weird, and why does it never end?? But nice, even though I mostly hate this city I really am going to miss little things about it and I understand why other people would think it's beautiful...i guess.
Does anyone have any experience with storage units in nyc/bkln?
