Animal Rescue Auction Anyone???

I don't know how many of you have seen the Australian fanfic auction going on over here but I'm writing [if you want to bid on me *wink*] (and bidding) over there and it got me to thinking. Someone should really do one for an animal rescue like the SPCA or something similar. I realize that animals aren't an urgent concern like floods and other natural disasters but whoever said that animals still didn't need help? I, personally, have 5 dogs. 3 of them were rescue dogs. You could write, do icons, banners, wallpapers, fanvids, whatever floats your boat. So, I thought, if people were interested, I'd set one up here (or on lasmisc and link it here) but it would be set up a bit differently. The one thing I hate is that in auction style ones a LOT of people get left out because they can't bid HUGE amounts. This way, there would be a set # of people you'd take and that would be that. Now, just to clarify --- YOU CAN DO ANYTHING (drabbles as short as 100 words, icons, fanvids, fanmixes, etc!). So.... are you interested?
