Because it totally is. So perfectly realised I don't even want to have fanfic. I don't even ship. The love had to spill over somehow, though. Here, have 1600 words of meta I wrote.

I have been spreading the obsession! You can rely on me!

I spoiled my flatmate to hell and back, which she totally deserved since she would wander in and watch bits of it with me (Sokka during "The Fortuneteller" and the head of anthropology at Ba Sing Se university in "The Library" were what sealed the deal with her) but I am keeping schtum with another friend who I am training in the ways of Avatar-love.

This transpired the other night.

FLATMATE: Aoife, didn't you say you had work early tomorrow?
AOIFE: I just need to find out what happened to Appa!
ME: *trying not to give away the fact that Appa does not, in fact, return in the episode directly after "The Desert" and that her heart will dissolve just a little bit more and more every episode into tears*

I watched much of Book Three in a rush after being good through One and Two. Loved it, but nothing will ever match up to "The Crossroads of Destiny". It has Azula's speech to Long Feng, which knocked me for six. I watched the scene a few times over trying to come to terms with the fact that any delivery ever could be so awesome. And then it has The Thing. Which I am so glad I was spoiled for since I could harden my heart.
