But I can’t stop myself from fretting.

It's alright. As much as I keep telling everyone to not worry, I can't deny that I end up doing exactly the same thing. Though it always has turned out well in the end.

[Honestly, not well at all, but Elena has more than enough to worry about.] You caught me. My husband and I somehow managed to fall asleep at about the same time and wake up together too. So, as far as inconvenient sleep comas are, it could have been worse.

Just behind in gossip and work.

The issue is the lack in knowing if this is going to end up with him being well or not, I think. Although it's nice to know I'm not the only one who worries.

Well, that's better than him falling asleep with another woman, right?

I find myself behind in both those areas too, to be honest.

Yes, that would definitely be the first thing to go, but I've come to accept that he's been in a relationship with the law for much longer than I've been around. By that logic, I'm the second woman so I should just be thankful for what I get, right? [Joking always helps.]

They always do. You have my word on this, Elena. Nathan will be back with us in no time at all. [Aaaand Naomi is too nosy to not throw this in.]

Just means that you're the mistress, I suppose. There are perks of being the mistress, at least it comes with some really nice, private, intimate encounters.

I certainly hope so. At least before anything else that's strange as hell happens here. Actually... Can I ask you something about... Death, here? ( she's thankful this is text right now, because the look on her face at the idea of discussing death is just completely uncomfortable for her whilst being the epitome of her curiosity at the moment )
