Setting up a worldbuilding/writing filter

Jun 19, 2007 16:06

So, yes.  I decided to set up the other filter that I mentioned, since I have a feeling that I'll be writing a bunch, at least for a while.

Now.  The terms of this filter are as follows:

- If you just want to read and not comment/take part, that's fine.  But make sure that that's what you do :P
- If you do wish to comment, you're signing up for more than just commenting :P  There will be polls, discussions, and I expect criticism from everyone who feels capable of such.  Of course, just because you don't have expertise in some area doesn't mean you can't comment on it.  If something pulls at you, say it.
- The polls will be to determine my next focuses on story-making.  If consensus desires, say a story of how person/god X did Y, then that's what the next story will be.
- PLEASE, people.  Keep me to a schedule.  If I say that X story will be up on Y day, then expect it then, and berate me if it's not.  Most stories will take one to two days.  Some will take more, due to length/life/crappy muses, etc.

I'm hoping to set up weekly schedules for writing.  For instance, say Thursday is the day for story up-ness.  Then Friday will be a poll for the next week's story, to be closed on Sunday.  Monday I'll start writing for Thursday, and so on and so forth.

And that's pretty much it.  I know that many of my f-list probably aren't terribly interested, so it's up to the rest of you :P (If, in fact, more than one or two of you exist.. >.>)
