(no subject)
So since we last talked I flew back to Boston, had a lot of fun with my roomie, cleaned a lot, got distracted from productivity by the mega marathon of top model (I know, I'm thoroughly shamed), and then packed and came up to Portland to visit my guy. It's been great having a week to spend together rather than just 2-3 days. Walked around the city a lot, took the ferry to Peak's Island yesterday and found an opening in the woods where we could climb out on the rocks and watch the sunset. So nice and peaceful, although I'm paying for not wearing a warm enough coat with a lovely little cold. Met a lot more of the people he works with, learned a few new card games, and have been filling my cuddle quota. All good things. Tomorrow we might be going up to the middle of Maine to see visit a theatre where I have applied to be a designer for the summer- a bunch of the interns at Portland Stage applied for the summer as well (the artistic director was in their production of Christmas Carol) so we are taking a group field trip. Hopefully the weather is better because apparently it is awful today (the windows in this apartment look onto brick walls so you never get a real sense of the weather and I personally have NO intention of going outside). Trying to be productive while people are at work, but we'll see how that goes. Maybe I'll make brownies again, that's a good way to make people happy when they get back from a long day of work :-).
