Home Sweet [Canada]
Well. I'm here. I survived finals and my portfolio review (which went pretty well- got some good suggestions for how improve it and some very postive feedback :-). Wrote a couple new scenes for Kidding Around, had my last shift in the cabaret (where i actually worked since they wanted to switch the stage and the audience), saw the last night of Minis, had a going away party for Joe, packed and left. Very full flights, but both of them went fine and I was glad to not have to go through Customs until I was exiting the Vancouver airport.
The house is nice, definitely more cramped than the one we had in Bellevue, but it works. A lot of angles, and light switches are opposite where you think they should be (ie behind the door- cause that makes sense--- silly canadians ;-) I'm in the basement, they sectioned off part of the game room and put my old bed there so it feels more homey. Ultimately though it's home, and it's got a puppy and a christmas tree (and wireless internet yay!), which is what matters.
