Weird Emergency Thing
I don't know why, but earlier in the day, Explorer decided to suddenly malfunction in a horrifying way. I was in the midst of replying to something at a different journal site and, after clicking my response to go through, the browser closed down. Then I started it back up and, as soon as it attempted to open up a site... Did the same thing.
Then kept on doing it! D:
As you can imagine, this filled with with shock and weirdness, because, while thankful I could still use the Internet and E-mail, messenger and stuff... Web sites were suddenly lost.
I literally swore I'd never use another browser unless I had to, once, because another computer had a veritable meltdown due to installing Opera on it. However... Because this is an emergency (and I still don't know why it happened), I would like to extend my appreciation to the wonderfully friendly Ari for getting a copy of Firefox and sending it to me via messenger.
Norton isn't registering anything malicious on my computer. I don't know what's up. So, this is just to let you know that if my characters can no longer eventually reply to posts, this could be why.
Also, because I'm forced to finally be a Firefox user, if someone could give me the address for that thing which lets you stay logged in as different characters on different tabs, that would be fabulous (especially if it also happens to work for Insane Journal). Also? a way to change its dictionary to British-English, because it's great having a spell-checker for replies, but not tremendously useful when it underlines correctly spelt stuff!
