For all people in port, it is now 2:00 am.
People upstairs will have heard one of the NPC guests -- a woman with a video camera, claiming to have once been a game show hostess -- screaming bloody murder from the basement. Anyone wishing to investigate will find her half-broken camera, and blood that goes from the floor to the ceiling in an operating room before vanishing into the wall. WHO WANTS TO FIND HER CAMERA?
All Wardens trapped in cells will hear a most unsettling, almost electronic voice whisper "Patients in the North and East Wings are to receive baths today."
Those cells are going to begin filling up with water -- mind that there are grates and drains, so it'll never fully fill up. Not enough to kill you. But enough to get your feet off the ground for a bit.
It will stop in exactly one hour.
...When all of the lights in the lower levels will go out. The only illumination anybody gets will be from their journals -- or flashlights if they find any.
