Considering Louis is stuck in book canon where the transformation is a little more involved and complicated than movie canon, I'm not sure he nanomites would have the same effect on Louis as they would on Claudia. I'd imagine if he tasted the blood it would just taste metallic and he'd spit it out. He's been suspicious for a while about the attitude of people towards vampires for a while, it's one of the reasons why he didn't do anything when Damon killed Rex. Also, another IC quip: Louis always is around the barge at night and probably eats later than all the other vampires on board due to his biology. The barge's sun might not hurt him, but canonically when the sun is up he's asleep so anyone who drinks the blood first in that day will be affected before him... probably.

When is this all going down? I was planning on Louis asking Donny for his healing ability back due to the anti-vampire sentiments on the barge and his involvement with Damon's alibi but Gel is on hiatus till the weekend.
