All aboard the crazy train!
So this seems like a good time to mention it, but now that the October plot is heating back up again, there is going to be some STUFF going on with Jesse Pinkman here.
Some of you have already noticed and/or been told that he's, well, not handling the current barge situation very well. Also, ALL THE CRYSTAL METH. Basically, he was already relapsing, but with all the creepy stuff, he feels like he needs the drugs just to get by minute to minute -- except that meth also causes hallucinations, which is making everything worse, which means he needs to take more, and... well, you get the idea.
How this affects YOU:
1) If you saw Jesse before Paris, he was probably looking a little sick, and reacting really strongly to any event stuff... plus occasionally reacting to things that weren't there at all. He also may have yelled at you for no reason, or abruptly ended a conversation and gone off alone.
2) If you see Jesse now, this will be like TEN TIMES WORSE. He's going to start seriously freaking out. He'll still try to keep it under wraps, but he's really not going to be able to.
3) Tomorrow (Thursday for most of y'all), he's going to go on full lockdown and refuse to leave his room for any reason, won't let anyone in, and probably won't answer his comm. This will last through part of endgame.
4) On Sunday, he'll sneak out of his room for food, come across what he thinks is Richie, AND KILL HIM. Except not really, because it's all happening in his brain. But there will totally be a post to the effect of, "I killed Richie, someone take me to Zero." He'll go quietly after that point, assuming mass confusion hasn't already set in. If anyone wants to come take him down before Richie is like "uh, hello," feel free to volunteer here. This may even be a log/action post, so that it takes a while for anyone to realize he's hallucinating. EDIT: YES, this will be a log at first.
I've already talked to all the players this affects directly, I think, but if I missed someone, or if you have any questions/comments/want to jump in somewhere on this wild ride, please feel free to say so here! This plot is as open as a plot about one man and the things that are happening only in his mind can be.
PS: Also, at this point, I am okay with people figuring out he's on drugs. However, please only do this if it makes sense for your character to work it out. For example, Locke knows he's an addict and so can presumably put the pieces together; Angua, if I were going to playercest, would think he was just crazy. Chances are, your average person will think the same.
