[Ivy comes in respectably early in the hope that she can eat quickly and get out before she might have to deal with anyone. She's sitting in a corner, facing outwards, because if you let people see your back for too long they'll just stab you in it. :|]

[There is something intensely awkward about holding a tray full of orange juice and cereal and fruit while staring at someone you most equate with strangulation by roots.

Awkward and weird. Tim was going to head for a table on the far end of the dining hall, but he switched his direction before he was two feet from the buffet, and sat down across from Ivy.]

Mind if I sit here? [The Tim act was on. He wanted to see how she'd react.]

[She just looks at him for a moment, eyes only very slightly narrowed, then shifts her gaze away from him and back to her teacup.]

[He offers a light, awkward laugh and sits, poking at his cereal.] That's...Comforting, I guess, since you could probably throw me across the room if you wanted. Heh, maybe I shouldn't have sat down after all. And just tell me to shut up, if I'm being annoying, it's cool.

If I did throw you across the room, all I would have to look forward to is another week spent slowly withering in the cells. You've already held that over my head once. Don't do it again.
