Rayne really didn't get the whole... Vampire relationship thing. Still, if Buffy was searching other decks in their mutual vampire hunt, that was fine with her. There was something about spending too long as what amounted to a teacher, when you were biologically designed for tracking down the undead. It made her restless and frustrated, like a caged tiger.
And, thanks to him being a former inmate, she knew his scent - and it was getting stronger as she walked on. Had to be on this deck, she was sure of it.
