Raistlin was on dinner duty. It was simple, just hand food and drink out to the patients who were well enough to handle solid food, take note of any allergies in their file. Of course, Raistlin was glad to take advantage of the fact that Richie had just awoken, adding a dash of something special to Richie's food. He didn't plan to kill him, but there was a dash of monkshood mixed in with Richie's food, which he unceremoniously plopped on Richie's bedside table before moving on, acting as if nothing was unusual. He'd wait until he food was eaten and digested enough to start having an effect before he acted on his plans.
