Who: Lua and Aleera
Where: Deck
When: Early morning hours of 11/7; follow-up to this
Warnings: attempted suicide, Lua's special brand of batshit

It only took two boxes to climb to the top of the railing, and as Lua balances on the edge she lets her shoes drop off and twirl down through the black. They disappear before they pass through the cloud below.

No wind this time, so it's easier to sit. Not like last time, but if it had been last time she could have opened her window and slid out instead of leaving the glass a spiderweb of cracks no matter how hard she hit it. This way, someone might see her, even if she waited hours to make sure no one would, and the idea that they'll hold her back is enough to keep her heart racing so hard she wouldn't hear if there were right there.

Everything's been taken away from her before, but the first time, someone came for her, gave her more than she ever could have asked for. That's not going to happen here and she can't watch everything she's worked for ripped away again. Even if she promised Ladd, will it mean anything if he never sees her again?

She needs to let go before she talks herself out of it.
