Who: Martha and Lucius.
Where: Seventh Floor corridor
When: Now.
Warnings: Probably not.

The last few days had been a bit mental. The sudden onset cases of the death toll coupled with the way the Barge continued to decay had only served to strengthen her concern that the Barge was approaching something that was very close in scope and effect of the blackout. The blackout had terrified her, and it'd terrified them all which was one of the reasons that Martha's bag was much heavier than it once was. Hopefully everything would be settled by the end of the month and they'd all be able to move forward from there.

The thoughts were driven from her head as she stepped into the seventh level corridor and water that was nearly ankle deep. "Bugger." She groaned loudly as wetness seeped through canvas and the cotton below. The curious thing about the water was that it didn't seem to be leaking below the doors, it just stayed and collected in the hallways. Well, she supposed the private rooms would be next.

Grimacing, Martha reached into her pocket and pulled out her umbrella. It'd seemed mental when she'd stuck the black sleeve into the pocket of her lab coat this morning but now she was glad of it. At least she'd be able to navigate the hallways without getting too wet. The click of the button seemed abnormally loud when she depressed it with her thumb, even with the pouring sounds around her. Just another thing about the Barge that was going mental. With a sigh, Martha actually stepped out into the deluge.
