Who: Alan Wake, David Harris & later Will Parry
What: A newcomer goes exploring the Barge. And finds a body in the woods!
When: Shortly after this little incident.
Where: The CES. Then the Medical Ward.
Warnings: Some violent imagery.
Less than a week since Alan's arrival and the shock of the Barge still hadn't eased it's way out of his mind. This place was still just as mysterious to him since day one. The Admiral had been very specific about Alan's purpose, what he was promised if he fulfilled that purpose, but it's the rest that was left out.
And the rest is what intrigued Alan.
Since the little details had been excluded from the Admiral's speech, Alan began exploring the perimeters of the ship. Granted, he was slightly uneasy about walking around; the mixture of his experience prior to residing here and some of the stories the locals had told him, but Alan was slowly starting to accumulate.
He shortly found himself standing outside of the CES but made no delay in entering the door. Once inside however, Nostalgia fills Alan as he finds himself surrounded by the outdoors. A secluded wooded area that is all too reminiscent of that sleepy mountain town.
And that's when he sees the body.
He almost stumbles as he steps back in horror. It's all too familiar. Too familiar. But shaking his head trying to make sense of what he's seeing, hoping that the figure is just his imagination, the body is still there. He approaches with caution, checking for any signs of life from the figure on the floor, but also making sure no one else is hiding in the trees. Or the shadows.
Oh god, please don't let anyone be in the shadows.
