When: A few days after this, when Richie's cabin returned to normal.

The punishment had been harsh, and not one he would normally have chosen. Especially so soon after their assignment, much less for a small thing that hadn't really been Richie's fault at all. But things had been tense for him ever since Hannibal's arrival, despite their few brief interactions together. He'd mellowed out only slightly since the flood he'd spent with Hoffman, but not much.
An hour or so after Richie's cabin would return to its usual roach-infested-motel appearance, Will stopped by and knocked on the door. By all rights, he could've just walked in, but he chose not to. His inmate's sense of privacy had been strained enough recently. He could give that a break, at least.
