I don't mind sharing a blanket with someone. [Prefect offered, helpfully. After all, he'd had the foresight to 'borrow' an armful of O'Brien's blankets from the washing earlier that day. They had plenty.] But I think that since this is technically Barron's cell, and everyone else here is just visiting, he should be allowed to sleep on the bunk.

[Toshiko had already locked herself into the cell next door. She had worked out that if she took the bed closest to the conecting wall, she could just about manage without falling foul of the five-foot rule. Fuck this flood.]

[As Kirk was maybe the only one here out of his own free will, he didn't have much of a problem with sleeping on the floor. As he could in theory just stand up and go back to his own quarters for the night but he didn't, as he had promised to help Prefect in anyway that he could and it just felt mean if he were to get up and walk off.]

[Prefect smiled brightly, at Barron. That suggestion and selflessness hard to be an improvement, and he had brought his gloves down with him (because even to him flood Prefect had seemed pretty creepy with all the touching) just for this kind of occasion!] All right, Comrade, you and I can sleep on the floor beside Kirk, and Rinzler can take the bunk? [He glanced briefly towards Kirk, then to Rinzler, as if this was a suggestion which needed verification.]

[Rinzler had, in fact, been trying to spend as much time as he could in partial hibernation to avoid the inevitable creeping horror of realizing he was locked in a little tiny room with a bunch of Users.
